The Maldives has two seasons, not four — a dry northeast monsoon (Dec–Apr) and a wet southwest (May–Nov). What you see underwater depends entirely on which side of the atoll you're diving and which month you arrive. This chart is rebuilt each February from operator reports, visibility logs, and our own diving.
